The Great Conflict

From the dawn of the universe came an bright power of life and death. It created lots of beings to rule the Matter and settled them down to a small planet with mild clime and lots of water and created an environment of life forms that the beings called Nature. They lived in peace and ruled the Matter. The live forms that were created to serve them possessed the power to improve themselves of a natural way.

Billion of years the beings of the bright power ruled the Matter in peace.

But then appeared a small ugly, oneheaded, twolegged creature, that developed the Thought and started immediately to spread itself all over the planet. First it was weak without any knowledge of the Nature but it learnt quickly.

The bright power of life and death and its beings ignored that small, weak creature like any other on that planet.

In just a couple of thousands of years that creature developed weapons, religion and society. That made possible many of to unite themselves in armies and to establish a form of union called state.

This creature always feared a lot about the beings of the bright power and called them with any bad names: demons, vampires, goblins, trolls, balrogs, guabdads, talasams. Their unholy believing turned to religions that weakened the power of the bright beings. This weak creature became suddenly powerful and dangerous. It named itself man, the bright beings - dark servants of the Evil, the bright power with lots of ugly names Satan, Devil... and started endless war against it.

Although that many men died in the battles, twice as much were ready to fight next time. Their population increased with an enormous speed. Their knowledge and experience grew up with every single battle till one day they achieved their first success. After that the number of wins increased with unbelievable speed. Then the bright beings bet the bright power to help them and it created powerful, brave warriors - the orcs and many, many more. The invasion of the men was stopped for about a century then it broke through the defense lines of the orcs and killing most of them marched against the main city of the bright power. Man's thirst for blood and destruction was as powerful as the bright power and after a short storm the City of the Sun was put in flames. Then the bright power of life and death created deadly diseases to rescue the rest of its bright beings: Cholera, Typhus, Influenza, Syphilis, Malaria, Gonorrhea, Pest and many more. This stopped the invasion of the men for several centuries. Then the bright power of life and death left the insane planet and flew far away. Many of the rescued bright beings followed it but some stayed to continue the battle against the mankind.

After the Great War that for the mankind was just a legend and nobody believed that all that happened many, many years ago really. The only place populated by the warriors of the Dark (the way the mankind called the beings of the bright power) was the icy land of Freezland behind the High Mountains of Snow that reached the sky. No man had ever crossed that mountain of fear and death. Also the see in the North was always frozen so that no ships were able ever to reach the land behind the Mountains of Snow and it stayed a secret for the mankind covered with mysteries and fear.

Many years were needed for the bright beings to prepare their armies for the back strike. During that time the power of the deadly diseases was weakened by the knowledge of the man and his population increased enormously again. The was no enemy for him, so he made himself an enemy. Endless wars started between the man states, led by his nature to kill and destroy. He killed and destroyed not only himself but also anything he could from the environment created by the bright power that actually game him his life. Till one day the dark Lord of Death the ruler of Freezland gave command to his eleven mighty armies of orc, trolls, golems, firemen. calcoons, dercorcs, coltogars, stone, wood and ice dwarves, denying killers, blood suckers, blood drinkers, flesh tearers, bone crackers, death and warriors, undead warriors, black, grew and white riders, morguts, talasams, vampires, guabdads, balrogs, dergelhorned demons, nightmarers and lava monsters. Each of the eleven armies was led by the last eleven beings of the bright power Fireglorg, Windglorg, Stoneglorg, Iceglorg, Beglorg, Shining Undead, Lava Master, Skyrider, Seesoul, Earthquaker, Lightbringer and their leader Dawnmaker, called by the men Lord of Death.

The forces of the beings have tunneled the whole North creating endless Labyrinth under the ground surface. So they attacked surprisingly and killed many men before they could organize themselves. The war lasted for about 50 years till the bright beings an their armies were pushed back to North and to the lowest levels of the Labyrinth. The men took by force most of the upper level tunnels of it and use them for dungeons, secret alchemistry, labs. They put their poisons there and filled the tunnels with deadly traps. Many men mutated as a result from the enormous quantities poison to grotesque monstrosities that fought the other out the Labyrinth.

Then the mightiest of the man's kings Tecktocle gave a command all the entrances to the underworld to be trapped and closed forever. After that his armies crossed the Mountains of Snow and crashed the remain bright beings. Some escaped in the Labyrinth to rescue themselves all other were killed. The Lord of Death flew to the sky and turned to the morning star that my be seen every dawn. The rest of the alive bright beings and their servants closed themselves in the endless Labyrinth.

Many years passed since these dark for the bright beings days. After the 50 Years War there was no common leader for all the living bright beings. Every one of them ruled his servants in a different part of the Labyrinth in peace without to be interested about the other ones. So that nobody of them could control what happened all around the tunnels.

The men led uncountable wars against other men. Some of them dig new entrances to the Labyrinth to seek help from the underground creatures for their plans. Some were killed, some like the Master of Gondolon got it and became Emperor.

There were always many totally different legends and myths about the underground world but all said that down there in the Labyrinth there were endless quantities of gold, silver and gems. The people led by their thirst for richness renewed the invasions of the tunnels once again, engaging the underground creatures in bloody battles. But there weren't many survivors. The greatest entrance to the Underworld was situated near the town of Troglogan. It was guarded by 1000 undead warriors that served the Lord of Troglogan Genda, who was known as a brave, stonesoul killer who dreamed about the underworlds treasures. He led the only successful expeditions in the Labyrinth.

One day Stoneglorg the mightiest survived bright being on the planet sent four invisible ghosts to kidnap Genda's family. So was established peace for seven years. But the bad main sorcerer of Troglogan casted the Earthquake spell that he stole from the underground mages and killed Genda's family. The lord didn't believed Stoneglog's messengers and executed, then he continued the war but with no success and one day he was killed somewhere in the Labyrinth by Stoneglorg's mightiest fighters - the morguts. The new Lord of Troglogan was Orgdad the Sorcerer. His attempts to reach the treasure cameras of the Underworld brought him many dead warriors who Stoneglorg turned to undead or skeleton warriors strengthening his armies. Although that he already possessed the power to destroy the mankind he hated violence and preferred peacefully to live in the Labyrinth. But Orgdad wanted the treasures of the Underworld more then anything else in the world. Not confused by his loses he thought over a new satanic plan. He was very clever anyway. He looked for the six mightiest warriors in the world, got them together, gave them inhuman magic skills, the most powerful weapons known to the mankind and sent them to destroy Stoneglorg.

These six warriors together were more powerful then a whole army also they possessed skills that few men knew about. Their small number gave them the advantage to move silently and imperceptibly through the endless Labyrinth attacking suddenly and deadly.
